PTFE Coated Fiberglass Fabric
- Extreme Temperature Resistance: Operates flawlessly from -170°C to +300°C.
- Superior Non-Stick Surface: Easily repels resins, oils, and chemical adhesives.
- High Dimensional Stability: Alkali-free fiberglass core prevents elongation and deformation.
- Food Grade Certified: Meets FDA and LFGB standards for safe culinary and packaging use.
Overview
This premium PTFE coated fiberglass fabric uses high-quality alkali-free glass fiber as the woven substrate, combined with advanced PTFE resin formulation. It is processed through imported coating equipment to create a highly versatile composite material. It maintains its physical form without deformation under extreme temperatures ranging from -170°C to +300°C. Approved by FDA and LFGB standards, it is completely safe for food processing and packaging applications.

Key Features
- Temperature Resistance: Performs reliably from -60°C to 300°C, maintaining strength and flexibility without aging or cracking.
- Non-stick Surface: Easily repels pastes, resins, coatings, and other sticky substances.
- Mechanical Stability: Resists deformation under a compression load of 200Kg/cm² with an elongation rate of less than 5%.
- Electrical Insulation: Features a low dielectric constant of 2.6 and a dielectric loss tangent below 0.0025.
- Chemical Resistance: Highly resistant to almost all chemicals, strong acids, and alkalis.
Product Applications
- Plastic welding and heat-sealing release sheets for the packaging industry.
- High-temperature conveyor belts for drying machinery, sealing, and transferring.
- Electrical insulation for tapes, spacers, gaskets, and high-frequency copper-clad laminates.
- Microwave gaskets, oven liners, and food drying belts for the culinary sector.
- Architectural membrane materials for stadium roofs and exhibition pavilions.
Using Procedure
1. Cutting & Shaping
Use precision cutting tools such as slitting machines, laser cutters, or sharp utility knives to achieve accurate dimensions and avoid fraying the fiberglass edges.
2. Installation & Clamping
Ensure the fabric is laid completely flat without tension wrinkles. For heat sealing applications, secure the edges with appropriate mechanical clamps or heat-resistant adhesives to maintain structural integrity.
Matters Needing Attention
- Folding Restrictions: Never fold or crease the material sharply. Creasing will fracture the internal fiberglass yarns and permanently damage the non-stick PTFE coating. Always store and transport the material in roll form.
- Thermal Degradation: While highly heat-resistant, avoid continuous exposure to open flames or temperatures exceeding 300°C to prevent the release of toxic fumes and thermal degradation of the PTFE layer.
- Storage Conditions: Keep rolls suspended in their original packaging in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct mechanical impact or stacking heavy objects on top of the rolls.
